Donations by Month


To get here:
From the left-hand menu, click Reports, then select Donations by Month.

The Donations by Month report gives you a month-over-month breakdown of how much each individual donor has given. It’s a great way to spot giving trends, identify consistent donors, and notice when someone may be slowing down or increasing their generosity.

What You’ll See

  • Donor Names listed down the left-hand side of the table.

  • Monthly Columns across the top (Jan, Feb, Mar, etc.), showing how much each donor gave in each month.

  • A Total column on the far right that adds up each donor’s total giving for the selected time period.

  • An Include Manual Transactions checkbox at the top that allows you to include manually entered transactions in the report.

  • Date filters at the top to narrow the report to a specific time range.

  • An Items dropdown in the top-right corner to filter results by designation or campaign, if applicable.

  • Pagination at the bottom so you can scroll through your full donor list.

This report gives you both a high-level overview and detailed insight in one place, making it especially helpful for donor follow-up, donor care, and end-of-year reporting.
