Designations Summary

From your dashboard, open Reports in the left-hand menu, then select Designations Summary.

Also labeled in the app as Item Summary, this report shows a breakdown of all giving categories (called items or designations) that your organization has set up—such as General Fund, Missions, Building Fund, and more.

Each designation listed will show:

  • Item Name – the fund or designation

  • Count – the number of transactions assigned to that item

  • Gross – the total amount given to that item

  • Fees – processing fees associated with those transactions

  • Net – the final amount received after fees

If you only see “General” listed, that simply means all giving has been funneled into one designation so far. This is completely normal for newer accounts or organizations using a simplified giving setup.

The Designations Summary is a helpful way to understand where donations are being directed and how funds are being distributed across your different giving categories.
